In the past alimony was consider an income tax-deductible. Meaning the an ex-wife who receive the money would be paying the tax. Husband who is giving her the money can deduct it from his income. Not any more!
Republican scared and terrified of Trump’s shenanigans decided to appease ex-wives clubs (their largest voting block!) by further punishing men who are paying alimony. Now divorced man can not deduct alimony from their tax.
This is from Morning Star
“A potential benefit, though, is that because the alimony will no longer be considered taxable income, the recipient may be eligible for more tax credits that phase out at certain adjusted gross income thresholds. For example, it will be easier for the alimony recipient to qualify for the newly expanded, partially refundable $2,000 child credit and/or the $500 dependent who is not a qualifying child. (Eligibility for that is based on adjusted gross income.)
Another potential benefit is that if the recipient is a custodial parent, a prospective student might also be able to qualify for more financial aid as well as the American Opportunity Tax Credit or the Lifetime Learning Credit.”
Just the other day I watching a YouTube video made by fellow MGTOW. He stated in his video that “men” raised by single mother hold grudges. When you see your father paying insane amount of alimony. Mother goes around date multiple men, and telling you that don’t be like your dad. He ain’t shit. These MGTOW are still stuck in traditioanlist world.
This irony is, most MGTOW are pro-white and pro republican. They went outta their way to vote for Trump. Horrific alliance between MGTOW & AVFM was not only shocking, but a sad display of how racism can be used to divide men. Now women worshiping Men’s Right are crying and blaming their racist master. They fed the monster, and now will be swallowed by it as well. Good riddance.
But for the rest of us. Not getting married, or any live-in relationship is the way to go.
